I met Antoinette and Joe in April to discuss their wedding day. During that first meeting we got to know each other a little bit. My first impression was, very nice couple with a great sense of humor. Especially Joe was joking the whole time about everything we talked. I was very excited to be chosen as their wedding photographer as I got the impression that will be a very nice wedding to photograph.
For the next few months we stayed in contact. Unfortunately, unforeseen private things happened in their close family and planning the big day became quite difficult. They had to go through a rough time.
It was the night before the wedding, during the wedding rehearsal, when I learned that Antoinette’s dad had to stay at the hospital. Her mom told me that they are hoping that he can join the wedding anyways.
August, 06th, 2016, at 2 p.m., at Saint Francis de Paula church, the wedding ceremony should start. The church looked beautiful with all the decoration, the bridesmaids and groomsmen looked very pretty as all were dressed in red and black. Beautiful dresses for the bridesmaids and very nice shirts and wests for the groomsmen. Joe is a biker, therefore they have chosen the leather wests for them. The guests arrived on time, the priest was ready to open the ceremony. Only one person was missing, Antoinette. Joe was looking at his watch asking mom if she knew something about her, but no. She arrived at about 2.15 p.m. not looking very happy at her big day. Her dad was missing at the church, he was not allowed to attend the ceremony as he was still sick. Too sad. Not only she was suffering, also her Mom was very sad.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful, a choir was singing and the priest has organized it very well.
Congratulations Joe & Antoinette! Now you are Husband & Wife.
Bringing this behind her, also Antoinette looked happy as she just said YES!
They left the church by motor bike, Antoinette on the bike in her huge wedding dress.
They will be a great couple with lots of love, trusting each other and being there for the other half of their lives.
Thank you so much for trusting me as your wedding photographer!
